(FINNBAY) – Helsinki, 8 June 2014. Since the Finnish President, Sauli Niinistö, started his work on 1 March 2012, he has made more than 25 official trips abroad. As he will be doing more travels due to the Russia crisis, we thought we would take a look at where he traveled.
In the past two years, Niinistö made 29 trips abroad based on data from the Finnish Department.
What’s interesting about these data is where he goes the most often. Overall, Switzerland and Sweden were tied for most visits at 4 since 2012. Russia is the third most visited place (3 visits) and the UK (2 visits).
