(FINNBAY) – Helsinki, 2 June 2014. The prices of alcoholic beverages increased by one percent in 2013 on the previous year. Prices in licensed sales rose 3.6 percent while retail consumption fell by 0.4 per cent in 2013, according to the latest statistics from the Finnish government.
From 2007 to 2013, alcoholic beverages prices in Finland have risen by 15 percent. In 2013, licensed sales prices were 14 percent higher than in 2003 and retail consumption rates were 7.8 per cent lower than in 2003.
